When we started offering Data Delivery Services (DDS) eight years ago I received more than a few testy e-mails from flow service providers and other wastewater contractors. "You're competing against your own customers!" was the typical response. The response surprised me in a way, as my vision was for DDS to become the most effective means of collecting sewer flow data for all flow meter users - municipalities, industries, and contractors alike.
It's working. In the last 2-3 years DDS has become the preferred means of collecting sewer flow data by some of the best contractors and flow service providers in the business. For a case in point make sure you read this month's feature article (see below) on Holliday Utility Services.
"Meet me in St. Louis" should be the unofficial theme song for this year's WEF Collection Systems conference. We'll be at the St. Louis Convention Center June 3-6 (exhibits on the 4th and 5th) with the most comprehensive set of sewer flow monitoring tools in the industry. Drop in to see some old and new faces as well as some amazing new products and services.
See you there! Best regards,
